Picture was taken at Rancho Bernardo in San Diego California on March 13, 2012. The Venus – Jupiter conjunction. It was very random as I just saw this from the parking lot, but good thing I have my gears with me and just couldn’t stop myself from shooting these beautiful heavenly bodies.
As I was walking out of the parking lot after work around 11:10PM on February 5, 2012, I saw this nice bright moon on a semi clear sky. It even has a ring around it (caused by light refraction from ice crystals in the atmosphere). It took me 4 shots before I was able to get a good setting to picture the moon. Final settings: Lens @250mm, ISO @100, Shutter @1/125, and Aperture: @ f/11.
