I was on a Mc Donald’s run when I saw this nice sky from the parking lot. I opened my trunk just to find out I don’t have my camera with me. So this picture was taken using my HTC Sensation phone.
As I was walking out of the parking lot after work around 11:10PM on February 5, 2012, I saw this nice bright moon on a semi clear sky. It even has a ring around it (caused by light refraction from ice crystals in the atmosphere). It took me 4 shots before I was able to get a good setting to picture the moon. Final settings: Lens @250mm, ISO @100, Shutter @1/125, and Aperture: @ f/11.
Photos taken at Sweetwater Rd., National City while I was having some Starbucks. Camera is Canon T3i with Sigma Lens 18-250mm.
